The much-awaited 3rd pink ball test of India vs England 2021 series ended bizarrely in just the first 2 days making it the shortest completed test since 1932. The Live Score match was held at the Narendra Modi Cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Being a very spin-friendly pitch the host team took the advantage of it to the fullest. With Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel’s magnificent bowling, the English Line up was bowled out for just 112 in 48.4 overs, as per the live score.
Axar took 6 wickets conceding just 38 runs and Ashwin bagged 3 for 26 the remaining wickets were taken by Ishant Sharma. From the English lineup only opening batsman Zak Crawley showed some intent. The first day ended with the hosts making 99 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.

But the English batsmen in the 2nd Innings managed to survive for just 30.4 overs making only 81 runs, which is also their lowest total in an innings against India. Stokes’ 25 was the highest score of the innings.
All the 10 wickets were taken by spinners where Axar Patel got his 2nd five-wicket haul of the match for just 32 runs and Ashwin managed 4 for 48 in the live score. The last one was taken by all-rounder Washington Sundar. With the end of England’s second innings at only 81 runs, the Indian team had a small target of 49 runs to chase.
In the 2nd innings, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill wanted to end the match fast and made a pacy 49 runs taking and going up I 2-1 in India vs England test series. This also increased India’s chance to play the finals of the Test Championship. Though the spectators expected a more interesting match the home side will be happy with the result.
